I had my first neighborhood play date last Tuesday. Mom and I were outside when Abby and her mom came by and then Abby's mom, Frida, invited us over to play in their backyard. It was a lot of fun playing with Abby. She's a good wrestler even though she is about 4 months younger than me. She is a chocolate lab. We shared some sticks and even some rainwater. I peed on her dad's grill. I lift my leg to pee now, so it's pretty cool.
On Saturday, Dad took me to Lucy and Milo's house and I stayed over there while he went to play with his friends. I was hoping that I would get to do the same thing, but Milo wasn't being my friend. He kept growling at me, even after I busted him loose from timeout. I peed in their house four times. Lucy and Milo's mom wasn't happy about that.
On Sunday, Mom was resting because she didn't feel well. I saw Abby outside in front of our house though, so I had to let her know. I kept running up and down the stairs and peeking out the window to see where Abby had gone. Finally, mom got up and took me outside and I was so happy to find Abby. She is my bff. We have a lot of fun wrestling together. Another one of our neighborhood friends, Robby, was there too, but he is old so he doesn't play with us very much. Robby's mom gave us treats and we got to run around a lot. I was tired once I came home. It was a pretty fun weekend.
Oh yeah, I also finished obedience training earlier this month. They gave me a certificate and a toy!
